Driver Hp Pavilion Zv6000 Xpert

HP zv6000 Windows Vista drivers work with Windows 7 32-bit (verified) maybe even with Windows 7 64-bit (try). I have installed Win 7 on HP zv6000 that previously was upgraded to Windows Vista. In the installation process, Windows 7 moves the Vista C: Windows folder into C: Windows.old folder. The drivers in question are, thus, located in C: windows.old windows system32 folder. Point/navigate to this folder for the location of the requested drivers for Sound, Multimedia Mass Storage (Flash card reader) and Modem.

I understand that HP doesn`t have drivers for win7 but i hope that you will have some decision for me. The problem is that i don`t have keyboard and no audio output device installed. When i go to start menu device manager i don`t have audio, speakers and sound ( i don`t really remember what was ) and i cannot fix the problem from there.

Please if have any chance to help me i will be very pleased and happy. Thank you very much in advance.

Regards Mimi. I found this forum post for quick launch buttons and an addional driver the person said you should install. I don't know if it would work but you have nothing to lose at this point by trying it.

Also, you may want to contact HP is none of this works and see if you can get a restore disk set for Windows XP. Contact HP support by telephone for the country you live in and if they have a number for home/home office PC's notebooks, you should call that number. Tell the customer service rep you need a set of restore disks for your notebook - give them the model number and serial number.

If they still have the disks there may be a small charge for shipping and handling. Here is the link to HP Worldwide Support: Paul.
