Drivers Gdi Generic 1.1.0
First, thank you to everyone who answered my earlier questions (I decided to sign up for Steam, but upon trying to start a game I just downloaded, I got an error message saying: //- - 19:17:22 - exec: Invalid script file./prefs.cs Language English parpg/data/language/english.lso activated. Language English parpg/data/language/english.lso activated. Video Init: Activating the OpenGL display device.

OpenGL version be at least 1.2.! Unable to set screen mode. Error, a DecalManager (39ca8c0) isn't properly out of the bins!
I checked my specs using Speccy and found: Graphics Monitor NamePW201 on ATI Radeon HD 4250 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1) Current Resolution1024x768 pixels Work Resolution1024x728 pixels Stateenabled, primary, output devices support Monitor Width1024 Monitor Height768 Monitor BPP32 bits per pixel Monitor Frequency60 Hz Device. I found the forum link that Google search brings one to (but it didn't help me identify the proper driver for my graphics card. I'm rather ignorant about these, so I was hoping someone could give me a link to the proper driver itself. I don't want to download and install the wrong driver & cause something to go wrong. (I'm also ignorant of whether or not that's a risk.) From Speccy, it looks like I have ATI Radeon HD 4250, but I didn't find any ATI Radeon drivers with that number beside them.
Edit: as an additional note, I am using Windows 8 on a desktop PC (i.e., normal computer.) Edit 2: after looking around more, I found what looks like the right driver (I think I'm going to go on and download & install it. If anyone reading this knows I'm making a big mistake, please let me know.:smallsmile. If anyone reading this knows I'm making a big mistake, please let me know. Looks good. Just bear in mind the 'latest' ATI drivers may not necessarily work well, because ATI is just bad at releasing bug-free drivers.
I have a Intel 810 chipset m/b (i know its pretty old). But it has support for OpenGL Microsoft GDI Generic v1.1.0 I used SISoftware Sandra 2003 and it showed me the presence of OpenGL Microsoft IDE v1.0 I have searched many sites for the driver but couldnt find it. Anyone has a clue which driver will work best with it? Will openGL 1.3 work??? Also wherr can I find it. Also I am running win2000 and win ME on other partition.
