Computer Wont Install Usb Drivers
I recently bought a G930 Headset that I know works. When I plug in the USB, a notification appears that states it is installing drivers and then it fails everytime. When I plug the USB into any other computer, it will install the drivers immediately and the headset works great. I have had this problem occur before when I try to plug devices (such as a mouse) into my computer. When I view Device Manager, it states that it can't find drivers (Code 28) for the G930 (it is listed under Other Devices). Logitech support recommended updating my version of Windows and there were a couple updates I found when I opened up Windows Update. They also had me install Logitech Gaming Software 8.46 (This program doesn't recognize the device when it is plugged in either).
After both of these didn't work, they recommended that I call my computer manufacturer to download the newest drivers (like sound drivers?). I built my own computer, so that really isn't a solution.
I downloaded Realtek HD Audio in a feeble attempt to hopefully fix the problem. I am running Windows 7 - 64 bit. Does anyone know why a computer wouldn't allow USB devices to install their drivers? This has been a reoccurring problem for some time.

This issue can occur if there are duplicate drivers installed or corrupted drivers. I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers from manufacturer website and check if it helps. A) Click Start.

B) Type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press enter. C) Locate G930 Headset. Right click on the device driver and select uninstall. D) Restart the computer connect the Bluetooth device and the drivers will be automatically installs. E) Install drivers from manufacturer website and check if it makes any difference. Also update the chipset drivers from computer manufacturer website.
